Cycling Without Age is here in the South Bay and West Los Angeles
July 20, 2016
Seniors Helping Seniors is now a proud sponsor of the Cycling Without Age program. CWA is a movement to reintroduce our elders to the joy of cycling and getting wind in their hair. They are able to get out and enjoy the fresh air and the community around them. It comes from the principle that life does not end at a given age, but instead we can embrace what each generation has to offer through something as simple as cycling.
The South Bay and Westside of Los Angeles Chapter of CWA is run by Mohamed Hassan. Our goal is to offer an engaging experience for our local seniors through this outdoors cycling experience. Seniors Helping Seniors is starting to organize events in various locations around the South Bay and Westside of Los Angeles for seniors and their caregivers to enjoy at no charge! The movement of CWA was started in 2012 by Ole Kassow in Denmark. It was welcomed with such high enthusiasm and positive feedback that it quickly spread to all corners of Denmark, and has now spread to many other parts of Europe, USA, Canada, and several more countries around the world.
